Education

Until I come, devote yourselves to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
(1 Timothy 4:13)

Education is another important area of ministry for AMAA, especially since it is accomplished within a Christian curriculum, always placing our Lord at the center.
 
There are three methods in which we provide education support:

1. Directly to schools.
2. Through tuition sponsorship.
3. Through scholarships.

We provide direct support to three Armenian Evangelical schools in the United States and one in Armenia. We also provide direct support to several kindergartens in Armenia and Karabagh.

We also provide direct support to Haigazian University in Lebanon, an acclaimed Armenian Evangelical institution of higher learning. The university was established in 1955 and is a member of the Association of American International Colleges and Universities. It offers Bachelors and Masters Degrees.
 
Through tuition sponsorship, we help support the education of approximately 1,000 children in 11 Armenian Evangelical elementary schools in the Middle East.
 Annually, scholarships are provided to approximately 130 Armenian students of higher education with a bonafide need.
